Australian project management consultancy, Adaptra Project Management Services (Adaptra) tore up the surf at Bondi Beach, contributing to the $110k that was raised at the Nelune Foundations' Lilac Swim at Bondi Icebergs on June 1, 2008.
The spirit of the day was electric with over 400 participants coming together in a show of solidarity for the Nelune Foundation - a not-for profit charity that supports families through cancer by providing emotional support, care and post operative medical aids which are not covered by government funding or a medical fund.
"A great day was had by the Adaptra team and our sporting prowess was second to none," joked Ryan O'Neil, Resource Manager, Adaptra Project Management Services. "Adaptra is extremely proud to support a charity that contributes to the well-being of families dealing with the illness of a loved one."
"We're already in training for next year!"
